As far as I see, this list is a bit poor…. for ex. in Berlin : room for 2, shower/toilets outside but very clean = less than 30 euros in Berlin city hotel (located on the subway ring); another one : 30 euro as well, for a room+shower+toilets+free wifi, in the funkturm hotel (near ICC)…. like this in 3 days you save one night !
So, your “super cheapo” ones from 51$ = 41 euro are not that super cheapo !
Great list! Agree on Martin`s hotel in Bruges for having an excellent location. I`ve stayed there in the past on a trip in Bruges: http://www.isabellestravelguide.com/bruges-tourist-information.html

Congrats on the 9 years. That is awesome!!
Wow! I’ve never been more inspired to plan a trip to…everywhere. Thanks, eurocheapo.
I have to add Singer 109 to the best hostels of Berlin. It was truly the best experience I’ve had. Nice and easygoing people, amazing light, large rooms (private bathroom), great bar downstairs and amazing breakfast.
