Thank you for your blog! I will be staying at the hilton in Mestre in april. I would like to experience the water taxi, as well as, travel to 3 islands Murano, Burano and Torcello. Do you recommend a particular ticket or pass? Also, what website do you suggest to purchase a ticket?

For the 1 Day Pass it says 21 euros on their website, but when you buy it, it’s actually 25

To be able to purchase a monthly pass, you will need first a Venezia Unica Card, which will cost you 100 euro each and will allow you then to purchase the month pass at 37.00 euros each. to obtain it you need to go to the main ticket office in Piazzale Roma with your passport and the filled form.

Hi, I am hoping someone can advise me. This article says that the 72 hour pass includes Marco Polo airport? However, the website says it does not and I cannot see an option to include this?

The time-limited travelcard is valid for all land and sea transport services!

and then says

• “Marco Polo” airport connections are not included in one way/single and/or time-limited tickets.

and offers

“MARCO POLO” Airport Connections – to and from! The complete offer at an additional 12 euros if one wants this service.

Is this in fact incorrect and the ticket for the week at 60 euros includes airport travel to Venice.

Additionally does this travel pass cover bus to Mirano, where we are staying?

Finally is there a concession rate for disabled people who are not wheelchair users?

I’ve been looking at the ACTV website for my parents and wanted to buy the 3 day plus airport transfer for their arrival but while reading the T&C’s I see that the vouchers must be changed for tickets before use..however, according to the website they do not change vouchers for tickets at the Marco Polo Airport. Can anyone offer advice?

Hi Ruth,
I checked the Venice Vaporetto website and it looks like the tickets are good for consecutive days only. The tickets are good for 3 days “from the moment of validation.” I hope that helps. Have a fantastic trip!

Hi, Please can you tell me if a 3-day ticket is for three consecutive days, or could you skip a day and still use the ticket on your 4th day? And can you buy a 3day ticket at the airport? We have a water-taxi already arranged for our intitial arrival on Monday, so don’t need to include the price of that.
