Funny that you went by the Doni in a gondola. You’re not in the photo are you? 🙂 The hotel is one of my favorites in the city, although it’s clearly not for travelers looking for something modern. But Nikos and Tessa are really sweet… and those views!

Love this post! I was in Venice this summer, this time just on a day trip and funny enough passed Albergo Doni while on a gondola. Good to know it is a cheap find and youre right..the views were killer. In an expensive city like Venice, affordable hotels with charm are everything.
