I’ve traveled worldwide but this will be my first time in Barcelona. I’ve read you should purchase tickets to museums and any other attractions in advance. I’ll be there in November. Is this really necessary?

Also, my favorite thing is to wander. Outside of touristy neighborhoods, what are some great walking areas?

As you suggested, we didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel. We loved the “pincho de tortilla” (Spanish omelette), with bread, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice for only €3.50.
