We were on bus 175 to Termini. Despite explaining to the officers that we are first time users and was not aware of the procedures and also having 2 witnesses beside us, the officers just ignore our plea and insisted we pay them in cash euro 50 each or we can pay at any post office but will be euro 100 each. We have no choice but to pay them in cash.

This whole episode ended in a very bad taste for our first visit to Roma. We are from Malaysia by the way. Despite us spending thousands of euro in Rome we were not spare with the fine.

Another point was that, when we board the bus, we ask the driver on how to buy the tickets as we are first time user. He just ask us to move to the back without syaing a word. When moving to the back, I saw this machine and bought 2 tickets not knowing that we need to stamp them.

Purhapes, the driver should be more friendly in directing us how to use the machine and the requirement to stamp the tickets. This reallt made us felt that, this whole system is very disadvantage to tourist.

Hope that this can be reviewed.

An unhappy tourist from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia-
