Also, I read that you need to produce I.D (Docs) when you present your roma pass, is this true?

Thanks 🙂

I’d say it was worth it just for the 72 hours metro use and allowing us to enter and skip the line at the Colosseum. Free admission to the adjacent hill as well as the Borghese were just added values.

Might not be an exact euro for euro match to what you could spend on individual transit pass and entry tickets, but the two hours or so you save at the Colosseum also has a value…

I was extremely happy with the Paris pass. Used it for many museums and exhibits. It was very easy to use. Not so with the Roma Pass. I had questions on it and tried to contact Roma Pass while in Rome to no avail. It supposedly included a hop on and hop off tour, but I could not get anyone of the companies to honor it or even know what I was talking about. I wound up paying for it again. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Yes, they started charging entrance fees for the Forum last year sadly. No longer can you just wander through as a short cut, as it is now all fenced off. Entrance to the Forum however is included now on the Colosseum ticket so it can be part of the Roma Pass deal.

(It looks like it’s been leased to Disney.) Is access to the Forum included in the Roma card?
