Pompeii could be an entire day trip in itself. we went mid-week in the off season and had the place to ourselves which was heavenly! Capri takes some time to get to because you have to get there by boat. ONce there you’ll want to leisurely enjoy the island and even head over to the adjoining island of Anacapri which i liked even better. there is a chairlift you can take to the top of Anacapri for a stunning view! there are also the blue grottos that you can take a boat in to see. Again, Capri deserves at least a full day to three days to really enjoy it.

Is it better to take the bus or the train?
