Why did you need to park a car in garage instead of open parking?

I am planning to take the kids to Madrid for 4 days from Minneapolis, MN and thinking of renting a car to travel between Seville and Madrid.

Should I rent the car and additional insurance from US websites like Travelocity etc. or one from Madrid?
Please help and thanks in advance..
Tariq B.

The average British for example, spends totally with its car around 70£ per week, 280£ per month and 3400£ per year, just for its automobile. These costs are insurance, fuel, vehicle inspection, vehicle excise duty, car finance, depreciation, maintenance, repairs and improvements, parking, tolls, traffic tickets and washing. This total cost might reach 500£ per month but most people disregard it because they pay such expenditures during different periods within the year. Do yourself your calculation at AUTOCOSTS.INFO and you might get surprised by the final result. Think afterwards how much you earn and how many days per year you need to work to afford your car.

However, if you want to see more of the countryside and less city attractions, it makes more sense to rent a car to reach those off-the-beaten path areas.

And is there generaly a deductible?

We couldn’t believe they had the gall to pull a fast one on us like that. Our car was mint when we returned it!
