Your better off in a small 2 star hotel … Near st Germaine or a university room near the Eiffel tower

You meet people from all over the world in these ‘hotels’ Although I will NEVER arrive after dark again. Too difficult to locate since most of them have a very low profile signage.
in Cortona the sister did not understand my poor Italian and turned me away! Fortunately the ‘head’ sister was just walking down the long driveway!

In Assisi I met a nun from Boston! When i am pressed for time i use monasterystays.com to book my reservations. A quick and easy way to review each location.

Glad to have the list on Paris, I have never been able to afford that city…..
