Green spaces… let’s see, I spend lots of time in Petrin especially in the summer. The rose garden as you mentioned is wonderful. But what about the little “secret” garden just below it? It sits just beyond the Hunger Wall with lovely solitude.

One of my family’s favorite green spaces is Jeleni Prikop (Stag Moat) at Prague Castle. There’s virtually no one ever there and it’s incredibly green.

I also like Vojanovy Sady for its hidden local feel to it. The white benches and the ruin inside gives it that “only in Prague” feeling to me.

Of course, I love Frantiska Zahrada as well. It’s perfect in the late afternoon of summer when the light is changing. I like to grab an ice cream and just people watch.
