I spend A LOT of time drinking hot chocolate in Paris, and when my visiting friends wanted to try out Angelina, I REALLY didn’t want to go because I hate touristy places. But it was hands down the best hot chocolate I’ve ever had. I would go back and wait on the incredibly long line again in a minute if it meant another magical cup.

Hot chocolate at Angelina’s is OK if you like a “tourist” experience. But for the real thing, check out Patisserie Viennoise on rue de l’Ecole de Medecine near the Odeon metro.
