Like you, I used to slink-off to Monoprix and just pick up – whatever. If we wanted red, as long as the contents were red and it was within budget, voila!
Just last week, I picked up an amazing bottle of 337 Cabarnet Sauvignon that came in 2nd in my local winestore’s contest. Wow!!! For once, I asked for a recommendation, and went for the slightly higher priced bottle [$15] and WHAT a diff.
