We were there right after Christmas one night, and, after walking the Path of Christ (?) inside, outside we came across this deserted Christmas tree lot, and maybe there was a nice cold Parisian wind, because I remember sad x-mas trees, kinda swaying, weeping. Don’t know if we paid money to get inside, there were few people, but the winds of Paris are absolutely free. Yeah, kinda sad, but free.

I mean, put them in the machine and wander down the block to nibble on a croissant and listen/watch the metro come alive with the dawn. They say the Parisians are rude. This not our experience. Maternal, I’d say. And what could be more free than the breaking of light above Pigalle? No deposit, no return. Enchante.
