These are great tips. Thanks for sharing! We love treating ourselves to a nice lunch and saving at dinner time. Or finding a happy hour at a bar, then going to the grocery store for a picnic.

We have stayed in apart’hotels in London and buy cheaper food at grocery store—for breakfast and dinner. For lunch we splurge and eat out. Citadines on High Holborn has 2 grocery stores within a 3 minute walk.

Thanks for pointing out that we should only give from ten to fifteen percent when tipping to save money. I will keep that in mind since it will be my first time to do so when we go to a pub to dine out for our first anniversary. It just came to me to do that because I feel like I wanted to help now that we are having a stable life with our current jobs.
