Finding the perfect accommodation when traveling definitely can be tough…especially when you really want that ideal location (overlooking the ocean or just one minute from the main square, for example). It’s great that travelers have these types of resources in their reach to have a relatively inexpensive travel experience. One thing that is really popular, that I would love to see discussed on this blog, is couch surfing, which I did once in Spain. What are you thoughts on this?

Wow! These seems pretty posh and luxurious. I don’t know if we will be able to afford to go to Venice?

My husband and I leave on September 30th to backpack to various countries around the world for a year or so. My brother is getting married in Italy in October, so we begin our nomadic backpacking adventure in Rome.
