We’ve just come back from Munich and one of the must-se Christmas markets is the Medieval Market off of Odeonsplatz. My American husband who had never seen anything like it was in hog heaven (literally…), eating pulled pork sandwiches, drinking mead out of old style earthenware mugs and watching the guy at the hunting supply booth sharpen beautiful handcrafted knives, while I was testing a few dozen kinds of artisan liqueurs…
Bring enough cash, because you’re going to end up buying more than you planned!

Just to let you know, the building in the background for Munich Christmas Market is the new town hall.
The old town hall is the triangular building shown in the background on the very first picture of the series.
I just happen to know because I was born and raised in Munich.
