You are left behind, Alinari is closed and Florence by bike only rents bicycles. Now the best are two, Florence Station Rental in the center and Melavespo below Fiesole.

We found at Florence Station Rental best price for our group , 35 € /day/Vespa , an amazing new model vespa with Tom Tom Gps ,we had gone to Florence By bike , but now they rent only bike, not best solution for drive around hills and Tuscany. Other rentals had asked us 90 € (Melavespo) , 65-70 € (Tuscany rental )…

When I go out of town next month, I’m going to see about renting a bike. As you said, it would be a good thing if you are wanting to look at the scenery. That is something that I am wanting to do so I’ll see about trying that out.

The name is Florence Station Rental.
Only 35€ for 1 day Honda SH 125 brand New. Next day € 45 for 1 day for Fiat 500 red brand new!

We rented a scooter today and rode to Greve in Chianti. It was a beautiful ride. A little hairy when we tried to get back to the rental place in the center of town. There were a lot of one way streets and we had a hard time telling which streets were one way. We might have gone the wrong way a couple of times. But I gotta say, we had a great time!! scooters seem to have the right of way – they pass cars on the left and on the right and in between – a great adventure.
