People living there now are mostly middle- and upper class 30-something from Southern Germany who bought flats with their parent’s money, as well as expats from France, USA, England. A middle class ghetto. Artists have been leaving this area and in a few years this will surely be one of Berlin’s most boring neighboorhoods.
