Later I decided to go back sooner. On the website you can change the flight and first I saw I have to pay $100 for the change. It sounded ok to me after I put my card information I realized they'll charge me another $216 for fare difference. I hit the cancel button and even closed the browser but I already received the confirmation email about that. So I tried to contact them to cancel the change and was on call with them for an hour or so. They said they are happy to change my flight to the original thing but they won't refund me 😳 Then I tried to cancel the flight but they say they'll refund me around $80 only 😳 They said travel protection is for medical emergency only. I will dispute the charge but not sure how that would end. I'll never fly with WOW again. With the money I'm paying at the end, I could get a much better flight. It doesn't worst it at all]]> It was my worst flight experience ever. First of all, the price you see first, is no where near what you end up paying at the end. It was originally around $500 (on kayak and google flights), when I finished the booking it already went close to $900.
They don’t even give water and you have to pay for anything. I had a tea for $4.5
They charge for carry on too so I didn’t bring any carry on. The limit on luggage is only 20kg 😳

There’s no TV, nope, you have to rent an IPad. Absolute Worst Plane Ride EVER!’

I decided to give this airline a chance, despite their poor ratings online, and I lost out BIG TIME!! I had experienced the most rude manager I’ve ever met at WOW. So rude, that she did not let us board my international flight, even though the flight was there, the tarmac connected. She rudely gave us a number to call, only when we called, her own company rep said to board the plane. Their own manager ignored the request AND ignored the request to speak with her own company!! Her rudeness and personal ignorance caused us to miss our flight, and cost us to purchase a 1-way flight to our destination for #WYD #WorldYouthDay which ended up costing $2,800+ for each passenger. #WOWair also never refunded our original flight. Never looked into trying to help us book another flight because of our situation, and to top it all off, the manager sarcastically asked, “How can I help you” after she purposefully ignored us for 15min+ only to tell us to leave the area because there’s another flight setting up for Heathrow. WHAT A JOKE!! This airline does NOT care for it’s customers, and their “cheaper” cost, ended up costing me more than a 1st class flight to anywhere in the world!!!! It’s hard not to complain, but their lack of resolving this issue in any format really is what drew me to let others know. NO HELP from anyone in the company. #neverflywithwow #wowairnothanks #travel #iceland #reykjavik #transavia

So it is refreshing to see these “little guys” emerge to help us, “the little guy”. I have some experience in using Norwegian Air and it has been generally positive. While they are going through some growing pains, I think it is worthwhile to give these smaller start-ups a shot.

If your cabin bag weights more than 5kg, you’ll have to pay an additional $38 when buying your ticket, $48 at check-in, $80 at the gate ! That price is indicated as per flight leg !!!

For your cargo hold luggage, add $67 when buying your ticket or at check-in or $95 at the gate (that is if your cabin luggage weights more than 12kg) !
It is more than 20 kgs, add $23 per additional kg !

Overall, if you compare to a classic airline, where you are entitled to 12kgs of free cabin luggage and 23kg of free cargo hold luggage, you can add $354 ( 2 x $38 + 2 x $67 + 2 x (23-20) x $23 ) !

Then you still will pay more for your drinks, your meal, choosing your seat, even for using your credit card to pay ! (toilets are still free) !

Now sit back and dream of your cheap holiday !

Didn’t get the cheapest possible fares, but still good value. The planes are comfortable, with plenty of overhead baggage space though we did check one bag between us.
