Can that be corrected to show the proper link?

Thank you.

This sounds like a fantastic trip — isn’t it nice to not over plan? You bring up a good point about the weather. Under-planning allows you flexibility. (I may just have to add that to the article. Thanks!)

Last December a friend and I took a roadtrip from Frankfurt, to Strasbourg for the Christmas Market, through the Black Forest, all over Switzerland and back into France then back to Frankfurt with a stop in Luxembourg for lunch the last day. Except for the first and last nights – corresponding with flights – we didn’t plan any of our stops until we were en route, though we did have a list of things to do and places to visit.

We decided to be spontaneous and be able to adapt plans according to the weather. It was one of the funnest trips I’ve been on. Some were longer driving days and some were shorter. Sometimes we shared a room and sometimes we booked our own. Sometimes we went swanky and ended up in a Hilton Presidential Suite (thanks to booking with points and a free Diamond upgrade) and sometimes it was the $59 clean and safe place to sleep. I can’t wait to go adventuring through Europe in a similar fashion again.
