It might be worth also mentioning the combo tickets covering transport as well as museums and galleries.

Once the Stadtschloß is rebuilt as the Humboldtforum, the Museuminsel will be an amazing cultural centre, at least on a par with Paris’s Louvre.

Great tips, though. Berlin has become Europe’s most interesting city. So much to see and do.
