Most wine is pretty good. Some wines to try for sure include Cava by Segura Viudas, Penedes and albariño whites, and Rioja and Ribera de Duero reds. Have a great visit!

We are from Argentina and hopefully travelling to Barcelona in September. We don’t have such an extensive budget so I was wondering whether there is any one wine that we simply cannot miss. I think your advice may save us a lot of trial and error! We don’t really know so much about Spanish wine, being from across the Atlantic, so wouldn’t want to be taken in…

We are going to Barcelona in October and will definitely follow some of your Tips for bars/markets/chocolate bars … We live in Croatia, where we also have lot of wines, olives, cheese and so on, but i cant wait to try some good Spanish cheese with glass of red wine!!!
