You must add that effective. JANUARY 2020, tourists will pay the NEW TOURIST CONGESTION FEE of 3eu. PER STAY DAY in addition of hotel. occupancy/ accommodation fees !

Hi Angela, You can search hotels.eurocheapo.com for Amsterdam apartments with kitchens. There are a lot of good options. A few picks might be these boutique apartments or these short stay apartments. Sounds like a fun trip!

Hello...I will be traveling with my Sorority sisters (a total of 10). We are not a party bunch we are celebrating 40yrs as sisters . I am really wondering if there are apartment style facilities with multiple rooms and kitchen facilities?

Wow – just stumbled upon this blog since I’m currently researching the best months (for a budget traveler) to visit Amsterdam….what a helpful site!! I’m always struggling w/ neighborhoods and doing so much time consuming research to figure what neighborhood is best to stay in while this not only lays it out but provides UPDATED hotel lists on a yearly basis (sadly some of the sites don’t get updated frequently so it’s hard to know how reliable the information you are reading really is). Thanks for all this and keep up the good work!!!

Very neat suggestions! I’m looking for a place for a family. Two adults and two children under four. We need one room, but two double beds. Also concerned about the steep stairs. Where would you suggest staying?
