Costs: the strength of plants
If COSLYS was born in 2003, the brand found its roots in the 80s. At that time, Jeanine Gabory, housewife and mother of three children, developed an allergy to chemical detergents and understood that hydrocarbon products had consequences for their skin, health, and environment. Common sense will lead her to imagine natural effects (first maintenance, then cosmetics in 1985) developed on plant bases, offered under the Fleur des Mages brand.
A company on a human scale that will take on a new dimension under the impetus of his son, Samuel Gabory, who notably contributed to the development of the COSMEBIO specifications in 2002 in collaboration with plant producers and processors. A year later, he launched COSLYS (contraction of “COS” for cosmetics and “LYS” which refers both to the purity of the flower and to the river Le Lys which flows next to Somloire), a new reference natural hygiene, both responsible and consistent, respectful of the skin and the planet. The brand is COSMOS ORGANIC certified and a founding member of the COSMEBIO association.
