Nothing like a touch of varnish to be beautiful to the tips of your fingers. And now, they are more respectful of the beauty of our nails.
New formulas from nature
The history of varnish, which began at the beginning of the last century, is linked to the technology of paints for cars from which it was primarily inspired. This is how formulas were created, based on resins, solvents, and plasticizers, such as nitrocellulose, ensuring easy application, perfect intensity, and lasting color stability on the nails. But certain active ingredients, often derived from petrochemicals, are now controversial, such as formaldehyde, an endocrine disruptor, and formalin, a very irritating solvent. This is why some brands have looked into the matter and have developed more natural varnishes, and therefore less aggressive for the nails, with plasticizers from potatoes, or nitrocellulose from cotton, always with maximum hold and color brilliance.
