Stimulate circulation to reduce dark circles and puffiness
Dark circles are not only due to a lack of sleep. They are also the result of sluggish microcirculation. The blood then stagnates under the skin, hence the bluish color that marks dark circles. Like puffiness, but which is rather accentuated by nights that are a little too long, because the lymphatic circulation is slowed down during our sleep, which causes slight water retention and, therefore, swelling of the eyelids. And all women, whatever their age, can, one day, suffer from it. A decongestant treatment, based on vagotonic active ingredients, such as arnica or Ruscus, helps revive microcirculation and thus prevents the problem from worsening. Some even contain vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant, which helps lighten dark areas for a brighter look. And to get the most out of it, it is better to apply it in small touches and make it penetrate by strumming with the fingertips to revive the microcirculation.
Note: some treatments are equipped with a massage tip (in the form of a roll-on or tiny beads), which allows a very gentle massage of the eye contour, according to the principle of acupressure, which helps increase the effectiveness of the product.
Our advice: sleep with your head slightly elevated to stimulate blood circulation and promote the return of blood to the heart, limiting swelling in the eyelids.
